Christa Taylor, PLA and Principal
Christa received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design with her concentration in Landscape Architecture from University of Georgia in 1997. She practiced landscape architecture in the south after graduating until she moved to St. Louis in 2008. Christa has a diversified portfolio of experience. During her career she has had the opportunity to work with teams designing and managing projects for state parks, urban centers, commercial and residential clients.
Christa is a registered landscape architect in Missouri. Having her PLA allows her to work with clients to develop landscape architectural plans. The client can move forward with the plan individually or Christa can be the authorized agent for the client. If she becomes the agent then she continues to be part of the project as she manages the estimating and construction phases of the project. Areas of expertise include: permitting, coordinating bidding, and managing subcontractors on the project with onsite management. In 2022, Christa became a LEED® Green Associate™.
Auburn Park Landscape Architecture has become a Women’s Business Enterprise certified business. WBE is a company level diversity certification that connects women-owned companies with government agencies and corporations who seek to work with diverse suppliers.
